Just two (2) days ago, the country, specifically on the Visayas part, was extremely devastated by the super Typhoon Yolanda and the effect of this devastation was horrible. Homes submerge underwater, totally destroyed, many lives where taken away, some where injured, some were missing.
According to a report, death toll is estimated at 10,000 in Tactoban City alone. Bodies recovered, however, were only at hundreds. Local and national authority cannot, as of the moment, quantify the extent of loss. Remote areas remain inaccessible. Power and telecommunication lines are down. People ask for food, they walk on streets to call for help, search for food and for their missing loved ones. These alone cannot describe what our countrymen has suffered due to this super typhoon’s devastation.
Today, more than ever, we need to show how we, Filipinos, care about our countrymen. We call for help from everyone. We call for any help you can extend to our countrymen who, as of this moment, don’t have anything at hand to survive. How can we help?
