May 2013 CPA Licensure Examination Results (Passers/Top Notchers/School Performances)

It’s May 2013 again and everyone is excited on the results of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) Licensure Examination (also called CPA Board Examination) in the Philippines.   Bookmark this page so that you won’t be the last to know.

For the examinees, they might now have mixed emotions which include nervousness, fear, anxiety, doubt (?) and most of all, excitement.  Exactly the same feeling I felt when I took the board exam last October 2007 and maybe the same shared feeling with other examinees who took the exam.  Well, glad we made it! For the new CPAs, congratulations!  For those who weren’t able to make it, keep trying and give your best, devote sufficient time for it and keep praying.  Who knows, one of these days, you’ll finally make it.


Exam Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 1,553 out of 5,665 passed the Certified Public Accountant Licensure Examination given by the Board of Accountancy in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo and Legazpi this May 2013.

The results were released in one (1) working day after the last day of examination.

The members of the Board of Accountancy are Atty. Eugene T. Mateo, Chairman; Dr. Rufo R. Mendoza, Vice Chairman; Luis A. CaΓ±ete and Jose S. Tayag, Jr., Members.

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will start on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 but not later than Friday, June 7, 2013. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2013-2016. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

Do you know that you can now verify your rating for those recent board exam results?  Oh well, click this link, follow the instructions below.

  • Go to http://www.prc.gov.ph/services/?id=41
  • Select “Exam name”.  For CPA, select “CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT”
  • Select “Exam date”
  • Enter your “Application no.”
  • Enter your “First name”
  • Enter your “Last name”
  • Enter your “Birthdate” in this format “mm/dd/yy”

Just ensure that the information you provided are exactly the same as those you provided when you applied for the examination.
